Her courses at SLU emphasize the practical application of information systems security, while other courses may focus on leadership development and organizational strategy, while also introducing strategic foresight concepts and systems thinking as critical tools for leading innovation in today’s complex, technology-driven world.
Dr. Jones has a heart of service, a passion for learning and sharing knowledge, and enjoys contributing to the enhancement of people, processes, and systems at every opportunity. Hence, her doctoral studies related to Strategic Foresight (e.g., Futures Studies and Systems Dynamics) sparked her inherent interest and have persistently held a special place in her heart.
As a Woman of Color in Tech for over two decades, and a professional futurist and foresight strategist, Dr. Jones was recognized as a Technology All-Star by CCG Magazine at their annual Women of Color conference in Detroit, MI.
Dr. Jones has a distinctive interest in realizing the value of understanding Systems Dynamics and applying Strategic Foresight and Systems Thinking professionally and personally.
She purposefully pursues opportunities to catalyze positive, transformational change in individuals as well as in small to medium-sized and large organizations by unveiling Strategic Foresight, its significance, and how to employ it individually and organizationally.
In her free time, Dr. Jones enjoys live music, the majesty of nature, and learning new things.
